About JAVILA
The Sound of Every Room
JAVILA is an open format New York City video disc jockey (VDJ) currently based in Austin, TX — and he's been inspired by the full spectrum of music for as long as he can remember.
He began mixing in 2003 for student organization parties and performances across the NYS Capital Region, quickly building a reputation for reading the room and keeping crowds moving. From college parties to artist showcases, clubs, lounges, fundraisers, and online radio shows — JAVILA has done it all.
JAVILA even brought his skills on the open sea, deejaying internationally with the Carnival Cruise Line. Now rooted in Austin, he holds active residencies at four of the region's premier venues — bringing the same NYC fire to every Texas stage.
