Wedding DJ FAQs

How far in advance should we book our wedding DJ? ▼
We recommend 9 to 12 months for peak season (April to June, September to November). Earlier is always better for popular dates.
Can we request specific songs or ban certain songs? ▼
Absolutely. Our planning process includes a must-play list, do-not-play list, and first dance/special moment song selections. It's your day.
Do you DJ the ceremony as well, or just the reception? ▼
Both! The Blaze and both A-Wall Experience packages include ceremony sound. You can also add ceremony audio to The Igniter for a small upgrade.
What happens if there's an emergency on our wedding day? ▼
VVP always has a backup plan. We maintain a network of backup DJs and have never had to cancel a wedding. Your day is protected.
Do you travel outside Austin for weddings? ▼
Yes. We love Hill Country venues and travel regularly to Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Fredericksburg, San Marcos, and beyond. Travel fees apply.
Can we meet or speak with our DJ before the wedding? ▼
Yes, always. You'll have a dedicated planning call with your assigned DJ, plus unlimited email/text access leading up to your wedding.
