John Winters Photography
John Winters has been photographing weddings in Austin since 2014. He works like a documentarian, staying out of the way and giving direction mainly for group photos, so the pictures show real feeling and vivid color instead of staged poses. He books only a small number of weddings each year and photographs one couple per day.
Previews within 48 hours
A first batch of photos arrives within 48 hours of the wedding, and the full gallery follows in six to eight weeks.
A second photographer
Most of his collections include an associate photographer alongside John, which helps when two parts of the day overlap.
Gets to know you
He meets each couple by phone, video or in person before they book, because he believes relaxed people make honest photos.
