Kayla Knight Cakes
Kayla Knight Cakes is a small bake shop in Round Rock that designs cakes for weddings and other special events, with a focus on buttercream. Kayla, the owner and cake designer, started it in 2008 and describes the business as fourth generation in the wedding industry. Consultations and pickups are by appointment, and she serves Austin and the surrounding areas.
Four cakes a weekend
She takes no more than four wedding cakes per weekend and keeps the shop small so each couple gets her personal attention.
Tasting with the designer
For orders of 50 servings or more, she offers a design consultation where couples sample three flavors and three fillings.
Delivered and set up
Cakes of three tiers or more are delivered and assembled at the venue by Kayla or an assistant she trained.
