About

Stonehouse Villa

Stonehouse Villa is a wedding venue in Driftwood, about 35 minutes from Austin. Its centerpiece is a stone house built in 1923 as a Masonic lodge, redesigned with modern interiors and hosting weddings since 2011. A day here moves from a ceremony under live oaks to a tented pavilion and an indoor reception hall for up to 200 guests.

How a night here runs

The ceremony

Under the oaks. We run ceremony sound from the pavilion, which overlooks it.

Cocktail hour

On the pavilion. Our speakers turn toward the house and keep the music going.

Dinner and dancing

Everyone heads inside to the reception hall. Since it is indoors, the party can go until 11.

Aaron's tip: lighting

Lighting, lighting, lighting. The reception hall is a long rectangle with very high ceilings, and the right lighting changes the whole room.
