Westwood Country Club
Westwood Country Club is a family-oriented athletic and social club in Austin, founded in 1955 and owned by its members since 1957. Its clubhouse grows out of the McClendon home, a French-style mansion from 1925 with flagstone walks, tile floors and painted ceilings. Banquets and catering are a member service, so every event needs a member sponsor.
A 1925 mansion at its heart
The clubhouse centers on the McClendon home, whose hand-painted ceilings and stone fireplace give events a historic feel.
Member-sponsored events
Private functions go through the club's banquet and catering team, and each one needs a member as sponsor and a social purpose.
Places to dine
Members dine at the Marina Deck, Huck's and the Lakeview Café.
