The Austin Club
Private club and wedding venue in downtown Austin.
An 1878 opera house downtown. Classic room, big energy, and Lauren's team runs a tight ship.
We know the load-in, the rooms and the timing here. Below is exactly how we run a night at The Austin Club.
The Austin Club
The Austin Club is a private club and event venue in downtown Austin, founded in 1949. Its home is the Millett Opera House, built in 1878 as the city's opera house and now a registered Texas historic landmark. The largest room, the Medallion Ballroom, hosts weddings and other large celebrations, with the club's own culinary team and staff.
Staff and setup included
Room rental comes with an on-site event manager or captain, wait staff and bartenders, tables, chairs, house linens, and setup and breakdown.
A planner is required
Every wedding needs a professional planner, chosen from the club's preferred vendor list or brought in by the couple.
Rooms for smaller gatherings
Seven indoor and outdoor spaces rent privately for groups of 6 to 60, for showers, private dinners and other celebrations.
Cocktail hour
Downstairs, with its own speaker setup so the music is going the second guests arrive.
Dinner and dancing
Upstairs in the Medallion Ballroom, every time.
Put the DJ right on the dance floor. The room makes it easy to tuck us in a corner, but our best spot is the middle of the wall, touching the floor. That's where the energy lives.
Where your day happens
Medallion Ballroom
The club's largest room, holding up to 250 guests seated or 300 for a standing reception.
