The Solo Harp
Susan Haas is an Austin harpist with more than 25 years of experience as a professional soloist. She plays weddings, corporate events, private parties and memorials across Austin and Central Texas, indoors or outdoors, on an ebony and gold pedal harp. Her repertoire spans classics, current hits and classic rock, and she tailors the music to each event.
Pop and rock on harp
She enjoys taking pop requests and turning a couple's favorite songs into harp pieces guests do not expect.
Brings her own sound
Her harp has a microphone inside, and she brings her own sound system for larger venues or plugs into an existing one.
Solo or with others
Most of her work is solo, but she also performs in small groups and can back a singer the couple chooses.
